This is a Twin Suns Card : Crushing Blow

This isn't the first card where upon reflection I realized it was a 'Twin Suns Card'.  I feel like most opinions on cards online tend to be through a Premiere Meta lense.  I never see Crushing Blow played and everyone seems to turn up their nose at it.  It wasn't until I faced my third Seasoned Fleet Admiral that I decided that this card might have a use in Twin Suns.

Any card that targets something becomes more playable in Twin Suns, there's just simply more targets. And as I've just mentioned, there are a lot of strong 2 cost units that if left unchecked in Twin Suns can become a serious problem. Even adding upgrade,s including shields and experience, doesn't affect the cost of a cheap unit.  Imagine all the leaders (7 come to mind) that add experience tokens to small units that become too large to trade with.  Crushing Blow can be an answer for all of these.

My core vigilance base module had Shatterpoint in it, that frankly wasn't working out. I rarely played with a leader module using the force, so really it was just a more expensive Crushing Blow.  While Shatterpoint does target units with cost 3 or less instead of 2, the extra cost tended to make this a card I would resource.  Most leaders I like to play generally use a resource in their activation, so I opted to shave off the extra resource cost and see if Crushing Blow saw more play.

First game where Crushing Blow came up, I managed to deal with a Grogu that had a Shield. I even played a unit afterwards. I'm going to keep playing with Crushing Blow.
