Twin Suns Module : Kazuda Xiono
Readers of this blog should not be surprised at this module. I like playing Rose, and this was one of the first pairings I wanted to try. However I didn't really have the cards to support it at the time. I do now, and I present to you the 3rd module for one of my current Twin Suns decks.
Leader: Kazuda Xiono
Ground Units (5)
- [ X-34 Landspeeder ]
- [ Ezra Bridger - Resourceful Troublemaker ] ~ I find that cards to let you scan your deck helps immensely in Twin Suns. Try to include this kind of 'tech' where you can.
- [ Han Solo - Has His Moments ] ~ I wanted at least a couple of pilots in addition to Kazuda, and adding Millennium Falcon with this had seemed worth a card slot or two
- [ Armored Saber Tank ] ~ A Sentinel that Rose can heal probably isn't bad.
- [ AT-TE Vanguard ] ~ Healing base is primary Twin Suns strategy, so having a Restore 3 beefy unit somewhere in the deck gives you hope there is an answer if your aggro/tempo fails.
Space Units (17)
- [ Mining Guild Tie Fighter ] ~ The card draw if it lives is way more important that the ship itself.
- [ Republic Y-Wing ]
- [ Corporate Defense Shuttle ] ~ Perfect to support Kazuda and no Aspect Penalty with Rose. DO NOT PILOT THIS SHIP WITH KAZUDA!!!!
- [ Fireball ] - Duh
- [ Grey Squadron Y-Wing ]
- [ Hotshot V-Wing ]
- [ N-1 Starfighter ]
- [ Swarming Vulture Droid ] (5)
- [ J-Type Nubian Starship ]
- [ Blade Squadron B-Wing ]
- [ Auzituck Liberator Gunship ]
- [ Black Squadron Scout Wing ]
- [ Millennium Falcon - Lando's Pride ] ~ Resource till you find Han unless you're desperate for the ambush.
Events (4)
- [ Fly Casual ] ~ Let's you decide whether to tempo or not.
- [ Jam Communications ] ~ Not Spark of Rebellion, but since we can't have 2 copies....
- [ Spark of Rebellion ] ~ Strong Card.
- [ Torpedo Barrage ] ~ Still trying to decide if this is decent damage or not.
Upgrades (1)
- [ Snapshot Reflexes ] ~ I like this card because it subverts your opponents math process. Many final phases of Twin Suns usually amounts to everyone counting life totals left on base and finding their lines. This can give you that surprise +1 damage which could be victory.
So now you have seen three modules so far. Right now one of my Twin Suns Deck is simply a (Rose / Kazuda / Nadiri Dockyards) deck composed of the three modules I have posted here. I have other modules I'm trying out too, which I hope to present in the future. This system has allowed me to really explore and dive into each leaders capabilities, and some of the combinations are fascinating. I'm excited about this game and I'm eager to see what other mechanics and cards we'll see in the future.
