Twin Suns Deck Module : Anakin Skywalker - Tempted By The Dark Side

Image
Synergies : Force / Tokens   This module is a little funky.  It uses the force and is event heavy (although the events do make token units) so you need to take more care and thought with the other modules you pair with it.  I wanted more force modules, and my Obi-Wan (5) module was designed to go wide with units, so this seemed like a great pairing for the modules I currently have. I was surprised how many token generation cards were in villainy. Leader: Anakin Skywalker - Tempted By The Dark Side Ground Units (6) B2EMO Refugee of the Path Gifted Urchin Dilapidated Ski Speeder - I wanted targets for Triple Dark Raid, if you have a better Heroism vehicle use it instead. AT-DP Occupier - In Twin Suns, even with the aspect penalty, this could end up being free Armored Saber Tank  Events (18) As I Have Foreseen Smuggler's Aid Drain Essence No Good To Me Dead Private Manufacturing Self-Destruct Merciless Contest Triple Dark Raid Corporate Warmongering Death F...

This is a Twin Suns Card : Seasoned Fleet Admiral

Image
If you aren't aware yet, just so we're all on the same page with this unit, I'm gonna spoil the broken nature of this unit first.  In Twin Suns, the plan token ensures that as long as you don't pick the plan token, the Seasoned Fleet Admiral will be guaranteed to give out an XP token to itself or another unit near the end of every phase at a minimum .  As long as Twin Suns still uses the plan token to draw a card that is.  So on that alone he's worth putting in your deck.  Let's add to his list of pros: He is base command so he'll fit in villainy or heroism decks He's an Official, which is a useful trait now that Secrets of Power is out. He can be played turn 1.  Start getting that XP token value ASAP.  Several popular Twin Suns leaders draw cards.  Catch them off guard, or at the very least, stall their card draw. He has the stats of a turn 1 play that will potentially survive to turn 2.  Unless someone is playing with  Crushing Blo...

Twin Suns Report Leaderboard - Greater Boston

Image
I've been tracking all the Twin Suns Reports in a spreadsheet so I can analyze the Leader data.  Twin Suns Leaderboard - Greater Boston (view only) Right now I just have : Popular Leaders, those who show up in the most decks Successful Leaders, with the most wins Percentage of leaders printed with a Twin Suns win/tie. I'm tracking aspects of bases for winning decks.  I might try to do some aspect percentage report. I recognize that only tracking my game data skews the data towards my decks and my wins a slight amount.  If people want to send me details of their games with picture evidence I'd consider adding that data to my reports.  I'm mostly interested in getting a better insight into the Meta for Twin Suns games and collecting data at the local level seemed the easiest first step. And the most popular Twin Suns leader, whom is also tied for the most wins, is Leia Organa (1).  Check back over time, I update the spreadsheet after each gaming session.
